Public Computers & Printing

Community Computing Centre (CCC), Lower Floor

The Community Computing Centre (CCC) is open by appointment only for public computer use. To enable physical distancing, meeting rooms, the Multimedia Studio, the Lab, and group study/lounge spaces are not available at this time. To book an appointment to use a public computer, go to ccc.westvanlibrary.ca or call us at 604.925.7400.

Appointments are 90 minutes in length at set times of

  • 10 – 11:30 a.m.,
  • 12 – 1:30 p.m.,
  • 2 – 3:30 p.m.,
  • and 4 – 5:30 p.m.

You may book up to two appointments each week, no more than one appointment per day, up to seven business days in advance. There are 12 PC computers available for reservation, with MS Office software.

Please arrive to the CCC five minutes or less before the start of your appointment. You may be asked to go upstairs if you arrive earlier. You may arrive late for your appointment but there are no extensions on your appointment time.

Non-reservable document scanners are available for use during appointments. We do not have any other equipment available for loan at this time.

Printing from the CCC
During your appointment time, you can print from the public computer you are using. The charges will be added to your Library account and you can pay them online by logging into wvml.ca, selecting your name at the top right, and selecting Fees under My Borrowing.

Print and photocopy charges (per page): .20 for black & white, .50 for colour. 

Printing from Home
Send your printing to the Library with PrinterOn, a wireless service that lets you send files from anywhere. Please use the email address associated with your Library account or your printing may be delayed. Allow up to 1 full business day for confirmation. No cancellations or modifications are allowed.

Photocopying
There is a self-serve photocopier available on the Main Floor of the Library.
